"Great MEN must die, even young. But death shall never kill his name!"

This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, William "Fizz" Johnson who was born in Indiana on July 17, 1980 and passed away on December 10, 2007 at the age of 27. We will remember him forever. 

In his leisure he enjoyed restoring cars, playing basketball and rapping, He was an avid shoe collector and always dressed "fresh to death". He also enjoyed spending time with his "Gwalla-Gallas" (his word for love and family), but most of all, he loved being a first time dad to his son, William "Lil Will" Johnson Jr.

He leaves to cherish his memory: the reason for his sunshine, his son William "Lil Will" Johnson Jr, mother, Benita Roberts, father Derry Johnson Sr, three brothers, Andre Johnson, Derry Johnson, and Marcus Roberts, three sisters, Cheria, Benita and Tawanna Johnson, grandmother, Yvonne Roberts, sister in law (big sis), Rhonika Thomas and his familiar, "Drey", "Get Ill", "Tae", "Loc", "AC", and "Tony". Also a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

The family of William "Fizz" Johnson would like to thank everyone that helped bring Fizz's homegoing together. A special thanks to AC and his Mom for opening the doors for the family and friends of Will to gather for his repast at her church; Prue Church of the First Born. Thank you Ambrose Rhodes for being a big brother and ministering Fizz's service. Thanks to the whole East Side Family for showing that old school love and helping send "our" brother home properly. A big thanks to everyone who cooked all the good food, sent a card, flowers and your love, Thank you!!!

IN THIS CAGED UP WORLD, THERE'S NOTHING TO DO,

DEATH IS CALLING.
GETTING MONEY IN THE HOOD, THE HATERS START STALKING.
NOW WHAT DO WE DO? A QUESTION WE ASK ONE ANOTHER.
LAID MY UNCLE DOWN, SOME COUSIN, MY AUNTS, UNCLES AND MY FATHER'S BROTHER.
NEVER IMAGINED IN LIFE THAT IT WOULD BE HIM.
ALWAYS CRACKED JOKES, CLOTHES NICE, HAIR TRIMMED.
LAST TO HAVE A CHILD, AND NO WE DIDN'T KNOW,
OUT OF THIS CONFUSED FAMILY, HE WOULD BE THE FIRST TO GO.
BUT I DO HAVE AN ANSWER, ON WHAT WE SHOULD DO,
PRAY FOR ONE ANOTHER, AND YOURSELF TOO.
FIZZ...WE ALL LOVE, AND I KNOW FOR A FACT,
THAT HE ISN'T GONE, JUST SLEEP ON HIS BACK.
BUT HE IS IN A BETTER PLACE, WHAT WE ALL KNOW AS HEAVEN.

WE AS WILLIAM DWAYNE JOHNSON'S FAMILY AND FRIENDS,
